I was recently going through a really hard time. I had been almost chronically depressed for months, and I had been self injuring. I knew it was wrong and I felt horrible about it and other things, but I just couldn't stop. Then I pulled myself together- I came on here and read through the entire site, again. I watched all the Harry Potter movies in order and read all the books again. I watched AVPM again, twice. I felt so much better. Harry Potter, AVPM, and you all here at AW are almost personally responsible for the fact that I have been cut free for the past two months. Thank you. MLIM.

Today my grandmother told me that she wanted to be cremated so that if Voldemort came back, he couldn't use her as an inferi against her family. I understand, Grandma.

Today, my friend was complaining about how the security at airports is racist because they only check a person "if they are wearing a turban." I've recently concluded that the airport security is not racist- they just want to be sure Lord Voldemort is not trying to sneak on a flight. MLIM.

So I'm sitting here, reading AW, when not only do I realize that my brother is singing in the shower, but he's singing The Mysterious Ticking Noise, To Dance Again, Different As Can Be, and Gotta Get Back To Hogwarts. He's 10. I have taught him so well. OLAM

Today in Horticulture my teacher asked what a Mandrake was. I said a plant that has healing powers. Then she asked what it looks like. I said the root system looks similar to a human baby. She said I was right and that they really are real. Mind Blow. Thanks Hermione. MLIM

Today, I got a tattoo of the Dark Mark on my arm while wearing full Slytherin robe, tie, and scarf. Minutes later while in Starbucks, a small group of guys gathered around me and my friend and pulled out wands, telling me I was under arrest by order of the Ministry of Magic, since I had the Mark. They then proceeded to take me and my friend to "Azkaban"(McDonald's play place ball pit), until I escaped(The manager yelled at us for being too old in the play place). MLIM

Today, I was talking to my friend at home from my college dorm room. I asked him if he missed me at all while I was away at school. He responded with "the foulest creatures that walk this earth. They infest the darkest, filthiest places, they glory in decay and despair, they drain peace, hope, and happiness out of the air around them. Even Muggles feel their change in presence... that's how it feels without you." I feel like a patronus. MLIM.

Today is world book day so my sister's school told them to dress up as their favourite book character. Most of the girls dressed up as disney princesses and high school musical characters. My sister went as Harry Potter complete with red felt-tip pen scar, black glasses drawn with eye liner, wizards robes with a gryffindor badge, a wand and an owl. I nearly cried. She's 6 and consider her officially brainwashed! Mischeif managed, MLIM.

Today, my brother and I found a new use for the Snuggie. We stood back to back, with both our arms through the armholes, and proceeded to act out all of the Quirrel/Voldemort scenes from AVPM. OLAM <3

Today, i got asked to prom by a cute guy. How? he threw a paper ball and acted it out. Exactly like Fred/George. My reaction? I jumped over the table and we talked for 3 hours of wearing matching houses for prom. MLIM
