I have a scar on my forehead from running into a wall when I was a kid. Today while grocery shopping with my dad, it started hurting, and I was rubbing at it. My dad asked me what was wrong and I said "My scar...it's hurting." Without missing a beat my dad goes "Oh no, Voldemort's on the move!" and promptly let go of the cart and ran away into the next aisle. MLIM

Either that, or he's feeling especially angry/happy.
Hahaha! --Lady_Luna: An HP nerd and proud of it!
I can understand why Harry's scar hurt, because it was done by Dark Magic and all, but I don't get why your scar - a pigmentation change that has been there for years - would still hurt...?
Maybe s/he had a headache and just thought it was the scar hurting?
Perhaps. That would be the most logical explanation. ^^
Whatever the case, it still makes a good story!
My guess would be residual shadow pain. Maybe something subconscious stirred up memories of the injury.
You have a cool dad. And you're lucky that you have a scar on your forehead. Wow, I just forgot how to spell forehead. :D
My mom has a scar on her forehead... from a car crash. I'm pretty jealous of it.
