I wish that could work on mine as well. She claims to be a fan, but has only seen the musicals and the movies. So I started reading SS to her and she started reading it then on her own, but it's now been a couple of weeks and she hasn't read any further than the eighth chapter.

My sister is about to read them. I've been trying to get her to for months, but she'd refused to read them because she doesn't like fantasy books. However, she's hooked on PPP, and since I showed her act 1 part 1 of AVPM, she's often had 'Get Back to Hogwarts' stuck in her head.
