I saw the trailer for this- hilarious. But what does this Twilight bashing have to do with Harry Potter? Here's my rant that I said before: Ok, look. In Harry Potter, we did not learn to hate people, or in this particular case, books, because they're different or we don't like them. We learned about love and how we should not be blinded by hatred (like Voldemort) but have sympathy and love everyone (like Harry). By not accepting that people actually like the series and bashing them all the time, we're going against everything J.K. Rowling taught us in her books.

I will admit, bashing is sort of fun, but that's not what this website is for. However, there is Twilightsucks.com that you can always visit if in the mood to bash Twilight. I think it was the reviewers who started the whole unwanted war, since on the dustcover they would write "Twilight is the new Harry Potter" so we Potter-heads became defensive, and the Twihards started promoting it all...

I completely agree with Mauvelous. Bashing is fun, I annoy my friends to no end with my constant Twilight bashing and HP talk, but this is NOT THE SITE for it. I am also looking forward to seeing this movie. But this is not the place for Twilight bashing. It's about loving Harry Potter. This site'd be called "Average Wizards against Twilight" if that's what it was for bashing Twilight.

Yeah. At first, I'll admit, I liked the Twilight-bashing stories on here since they were entertaining. But all it really does is annoy most HP fans, and attract irritating Twihards. That's a good idea. I too enjoyed the Twilight-bashing stories for a time. I even tried getting some posted. But after seeing how annoying they are, and the minimal relation to Harry Potter, I stopped. We all know Harry Potter is the superior series, but they really shouldn't even be compared. Two different series, two different genres (I've seen places where it's categorized as horror/thriller), two different writing styles.

Exactly. The only similarity is the huge fan bases. We're both in love with our series, and we can get defensive over them (a little toooo defensive if you ask me...) and we're very dedicated to the authors. And we definitely get out of hand at times. But I like seeing the HP fans act dignified and mature, since I will admit, those Twihards can be really bad at times. And us HP fans should be following the example Dumbledore left behind.
