I'm only in middle school, but I have my heart set on going to NYU for college. My dad said that Quidditch is a ridiculous sport and that no actual colleges have Quidditch teams. I proceeded to go to the IQA website and found a list of participating colleges/universities. On that list? Harvard, Yale, Michigan State, and... NYU. If I didn't know where I was going before, I do now. MyLifeIsMagical!

I want to go to NYU, too. My parents said i had to give them 10 good reasons on why they should let me. You just gave me reason 10.

My parents are all for it. We don't live very far from the city, so my parents like me going close to me home. I love the city. Just a great atmosphere. And plenty of Potterheads.

You should come to UConn! We have a Dumbledore's Army, and we're trying to form a Quidditch team. We also have a Harry Potter-themed dinner once a year, and a Harry Potter movie marathon in the movie theater on campus (a lot of people came in costumes). ^_^ Also, one of the dining halls kind of looks like the Great Hall.

I'm afraid I haven't heard of UConn, and as magical as it sounds, I love New York City and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

UConn (University of Connecticut - Storrs) is between NYC and Boston and there are bus trips to both cities, so even though it is a very rural campus (it's an agricultural school, so there's also a dairy bar where you can get homemade ice cream), you don't have to completely give up city life. I'm just saying, I love it there, and it's a great school to consider especially if you live in the area.

I go to University in Toronto, Canada and we went to the World cup in NYC this year. It was amazing and I felt so at home. <3
