and one more: I was watching Anastasia yesterday, and immediately after, watched AVPM. I noticed, during the Yule Ball scene, when Harry and Ginny were dancing, their conversation ("I'm feeling kinda dizzy" "Well maybe we should stop spinning...from all this spinning" "we have stopped spinning") mirrored the one between Anya and Dimitri on the boat when they were dancing. I couldn't stop laughing for about 10 mins straight. MLIM

notehr one: This Christmas, I was opening my present. it was very small and thin, and I was wondering what it could be. When I finally got the wrapping paper off, to my surprise, an envelope fell out bearing my name and my bedroom in the middle of the hall. It was a Hogwarts acceptance letter, typed on parchment paper with harry Potter font, and tucked inside was an Islands of Adventure ticket! I have just returned from The Wizarding Word of Harry Potter and I can safely say it was the best Christmas present EVER! MLIM!

Last christmas me, my bestfriend, my brother, and my sister all got Harry Potter replica wands. Mine is in my backpack all the time so I can have it when needed. Well, yesterday in the lunchroom a girl pulled out her want and I pulled mine out too. We ended up having a duel in the middle of the school lunchroom. We got a group around us cheering. She was Gryffindor, and I (wearing my slytherin shirt) was deff Slytherin. I won.

Today, me and my brother were playing charades. I started pretending to be Harry, and I asked, "Do you know what it is?" and my brother replied with, "Alex from wizards of waverly place!" silly muggle. :) MLIM!

yesterday my friend an i were waiting at a bus stop, it was really cold so jokingly we pretended to signal the night bus. guess what turned around the corner 10 seconds later.

Yesterday while babysitting my 8 year old sister for my parents (I am 20) with the house to ourselves all day we were trying to think of something to fun to do. My sister piped up clearly joking "Go to Hogwarts?" Me: Challenge Accepted. After making Pumpkin Pasties, and taking surveys to see what houses we would be sorted into (Her:Gryffindor Me:Ravenclaw) we rearranged my parents livingroom, built a fort hung a sign on the front that said Hogwarts and spent the rest of the day in it wearing our cloaks and Harry Potter glasses reading Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban, watched the first movie, and had a duel with the wands we made.(she won ^^;;) Later my parents came home to find us both asleep in Hogwarts. Day well spent, coolest little sister ever, and finally has a story MLIW worthy. OurLIW

Today, whilst learning of genetics in science class, my awesome teacher said we will be using Harry Potter as an example. I had said at the beginning of the year that I loved reading, especially Harry Potter. He then separated the class into Muggles who would use what he had taught last year and then Witches and Wizards who would use Harry Potter genetics. I was the only Witch out of 13 students who decided to learn it. I was thereafter referred to as Hermione and helped everyone pass. MC(lass)IM

Today,being bored at lunch, I wandered into the library and started re-reading the Deathly Hallows. I let it open randomly to the back pages. The page it opened on was Fred's death, and, like always, I started crying. A 5th-grade girl noticed, and looked at the book I was reading. She grinned at me, and said, "Dumbledore's Army." I looked at her solemnly and replied, "Always". Harry Potter, developing friendships in 3 words. MLIM.

Today, after reading about 4 hours worth of AW stories ... I ended up watching AVPM/AVPS and tomorrow i'm doing movie marathon of all the movie :) I love Harry Potter, JK Rowling saved my life, and now that the books and movies are over - you , all of you Average Wizards - are saving me too. The other day, I was trying to photograph one of my mother's pedigreed cats. I set the cat in the perfect pose, and predictably, it began to change positions. The first thing that came to mind? "Felinus Immobilus!" The cat stayed. MLIW

Today our Latin teacher had us read every Harry Potter books. We had to copy all the spells we found because they are actually Latin words(go figure). Next week we will be creating our own spells out of Latin words. OLAM :)

A few days ago, I was really bored during my Math class. I randomly wrote "Secto Sempra" on my desk. The next day, I came to class to see someone had written under it "Avada Kedavra!" I continued to duel with this mystery person via desk for days, until just today, I had sat down in my desk. I was early for class, and there were still a few students from the previous class at the front, talking to the teacher. I started writing another incantation, when someone walked by and whispered "Avada Kedavra!" As they walked by. It made me smile. But the sad news? As I was writing notes today during math class, my teacher walked up and said "Mikayla..." and slid my notes away, revealing our duel. He told me to erase it. While my teacher may be a Muggle, the person who dueled me and my life are both Magical :3

Confession: one time I made a gmail account for "hogwarts admission office", and then sent out the email address a million times on Mystery Google, along with a message from McGonagall inviting all muggles to send a resume. I checked my inbox the next day and there were over 20 "applicants". MLIM:)

I went to the Harry Potter museum with my two sisters and they were sorting people into houses. So I quickly put my hand up thinking I wouldn't be picked out of the crowd. But they chose me instead of all the kids in in front and was sorted into Hufflepuff (HUFFLEPUFF FTW!).MILM

My cat's name is Mrs. Norris, after Filch's cat from Harry Potter (of course). Well, she's about 9 months old, and I finally had my first HP marathon since I got her. In the very first movie, when Mrs. Norris catches Harry, Ron and Hermione on the third floor corridor, my cat sits up from her nap, looks at the TV, then whips her head back at me before launching herself off my legs (claws extended, mind you. very painful). She then proceeds to leap from the floor to the top of the TV, which is about 5 feet off the ground, and pace along the top of the TV yowling at the top of her lungs until Mrs. Norris is no longer on the screen. She then leaps back off the TV, and hurtles herself at my face. I think she's mad that I named her after such an ugly cat.... MyCatsLifeisMagical

Today, I realized that the coolest thing that has ever happened to me was getting selected to have a wand "pick" me at Ollivanders at Harry Potter World. MLIM.

So, I've been planning a Harry Potter marathon dice I bought the pack of all 8 movies. Three of my friends have made plans to join me, so I just turned it into a little party. Two of them are planning to make wands from paper, one already has one, and I'm dressing in my Slytherin robe and own wand while also making HP themed foods, like licorice wands, butterbeer, and cauldron cakes. Excited? Most definately. MLIM

Today my fiance made the realization that Valentine's Day will be the 200 day mark before our wedding. I then made the even geekier realization that September the first (our wedding date) is the day the kids take the train back to Hogwarts. He thought this was just as awesome as I did. We are truly average wizards :)

A week ago all the kids at my school planned yo dress up as hogwarts students. None of the teachers knew. I wore a ravenclaw shirt hat scarf, carried my wand and wire my DA necklace. A lot of the other students dressed up from their houses. When I got to my first period literature class and someone got an answer wrong my teacher said 10 points from gryffindor! And the proceeded to get in a duel with a student. He did this all on the spot. I love my teacher, desks were being flipped over as they dueled. MTLIM (my teachers life is magical)

One of my co-workers, who's 53, was telling us how her Grand-babies had her playing a Harry Potter game on the Wii, && she had no clue who or what Harry Potter was. I told her to pick a day, I'm bringing my entire collection of books to her house && reading them to her. MLIM

For my 16th birthday, I received a Gryffindor sweater, tie, hat and scarf, all of which I wore on my birthday to school. In my spanish class, we were having an oral pop quiz, and after getting an answer right, my teacher smiled and yelled "10 POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR!!"

Today i read a newspaper article about some people going to Kings Cross Station on the 1st of September and running into walls to get to platform 9and 3/4. I want to meet these people and become their friend. MLIM

Today my roommate and I were walking down the street discussing Harry Potter logic. I began my sentence, "All we'd have to do is insure he doesn't go to a magical hospital. If he goes to a Muggle hospital--" A guy randomly ran backward and stopped in front of us. We stared at him and he quickly said, "I'm sorry, but that was an awesome bit of conversation to overhear." The other day in math class, I drew the Deathly Hallows symbol and the word 'Always' on my desk, thinking nothing of it. THe next day someone had drawn it again and used the symbol for the A in 'Always'. We now leave each other little Harry Potter things on the desk everyday. MLIM

Last week, I had to give a presentation in my college "Cross-Cultural Psychology" class. Part of my collage was about being a Potterhead, so naturally I brought in my replica of Snape's wand. I began the presentation by saying, "I guess it's safe to assume you've all heard of, if not seen and/or read about Harry Potter." Every one of my classmates smiled and nodded. I quickly pulled out the wand and said, "Then there will be no misunderstanding me when I say there is to be silly wand waving or silly incantations in this class." Last week, I went to see a production of Young Frankenstein in my town. The guy who played Frederick Frankenstein was A.J. Holmes. A.J. Holmes wrote the music for A Very Potter Musical. Life complete. MLIM.

Today in Earth Sciences, my teacher asked what was the most valuable stone. I yelled "The Philosopher's Stone!"

I met this guy when I was 11 and we have been best friends since. We're juniors now (the equivalent of 6th years) and now were dating. Were just like Ron and Hermione!!!! My life is now complete... MLIM

In my Language Arts class, I connect everything to Harry Potter and everyone in that class knows I love it. So for my descriptive writing peice I'm riding what it's like to ride a hippogriff. (Buckbeak of course) and in my health class we can submit inspirations. The teacher hangs them up and you have to say where you go them from. I submitted one that said "Happiness can always be found in the darkest of times; if one only remembers to turn on the light" and said it was from Proffessor Dumbledore. It's now hanging in the classroom

I'm watching AVPM for the first time, and even though I've only watched the first clip so far(soon to be more), I'm going to have "Going Back To Hogwarts" stuck in my head for a while. MLIM

While I was at the Wizarding World, I wore my Pigfarts shirt. Everytime I was called a muggle, I responded I was from Pigfarts, and most of them joked about it. However, one person approached me and commented on it. We then got into an epic conversation about Pigfarts, rocketships, Draco, Rumbleroar and Mars while y Mum watched us, lookin confused.
